Experience: I work in private practice in Cleveland Heights, OH. Prior to working in Cleveland, I worked in private practice in Seattle, WA for several years. I have also worked as a Child and Family Therapist for a WA Native American community and for a Seattle area community mental health agency were I served children, adolescents, and families healing from sexual abuse.

Education and Training: I earned my Masters of Arts in Psychology from Antioch University Seattle's School of Applied Psychology. My degree specializations were in Couple and Family Therapy and Art Therapy.  I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Art Therapy from Edgewood College in Madison, WI. I am a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.  I practice from a humanistic and systemic perspective and I am trained in many evidence based practices including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Parent Child Interaction Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. My therapeutic approach is eclectic and I draw from all of these models in order to best support you in reaching your goals.

Personal: I grew up in rural Wisconsin in a family that enjoys outdoor adventures including white water canoeing, camping, and skiing.  My love and appreciation for nature started then and continues today. I am committed to living well and I particularly enjoy spending time with my family gardening, playing, and exploring the outdoors.
